Certified Caregivers Training
Northland Hospice offers an Arizona State accredited Certified Caregiver Training Program. The six-week training course, five weeks of lectures and one week of extensive hands-on experience at our Olivia White Hospice Home, prepares students to take the Arizona State exam to acquire a Caregiver Certification. This certification will open many opportunities for those seeking employment within the medical industry — including our very own Olivia White Hospice Home.
Tuition
$900 is required for enrollment, which includes the textbook and workbook. Scholarships are available.

Grief Support
The loss of a loved one is a journey along life’s path. With it comes a variety of emotions, challenges, and changes. Each person’s way of grieving is different. Their journey may be influenced by many factors including age, personality, relationship with the deceased, personal understanding of grief and regret. No matter what the grief process looks like, each person finds a way to cope with the loss of a loved one. Our counselors guide individuals, families and groups through this journey by providing compassionate support. Northland Hospice also offers a variety of support groups held in Flagstaff and Williams.

Hodgepodge Thrift Store
The Hodgepodge is a distinctive thrift store that offers a huge variety of quality pre-owned and new items for sale. The Hodgepodge is much more than just another thrift store. All of our proceeds benefit the compassionate services provided by Northland Hospice to the communities of Northern Arizona.
Many of the items we receive come from our clients, who lovingly bequeath their belongings to The Hodgepodge in order to help support our hospice and palliative care programs. In addition to managing a thriving thrift store business, the Hodgepodge conducts regular silent auctions of unique items, custom jewelry, regional artwork, and precious antiques. More highly specialized items can be found on eBay.
Donations are accepted during store hours (Tuesday – Saturday, 9 AM – 5 PM), and free pick-up service is available for larger items. Please call the Store Manager at 928-213-5775 for assistance with donations or for more information. Click here to volunteer.
